A Blue Jay has flown the coup.

Cliff Pennington, who was acquired in August by the team to fill in a void on their team, has moved on to the Los Angeles of Anaheim in a two year deal.

The 31 year old native of Texas hit .160 with 2 home runs and 11 RBIs over 33 games with the Jays.

He became pivotal to the team after an injury to Troy Tulowitzki and even pitched an inning in the playoffs for Toronto.
